GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION:

Candidate is primarily responsible for coordinating service parts that are needed to be submitted for warranty to Watkins Manufacturing as well as other vendors that offer warranty for the products sold. Main responsibility is to accurately submit warranty with appropriate resources (on-line, in writing and/or mail). Meet & exceed monthly goals. Superior organizational and time management skills with ability to follow-through, especially communicating internally & externally. Candidate must be organized with attention to detail and accuracy.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Candidate is primarily responsible for coordinating service parts that are needed to be submitted for warranty to Watkins Manufacturing as well as other vendors that offer warranty for the products sold. Main responsibility is to accurately submit warranty with appropriate resources (on-line, in writing and/or mail) – Meet & exceed monthly goals.
  • Maintain service department files and records.
  • Update customer profiles using product info, address, or other information from the customer service orders.
  • Maintain technical and product knowledge on all equipment sold within the dealership’s area of responsibility.
  • Point person for warranty questions on all products that Hot Spring Spas & Pool Tables 2 sells.  Be knowledgeable on all warranty aspects.
  • Work with Service Technicians & Delivery & Service Coordinator to obtain more warranty & educate them on what is covered and what may not be covered under warranty.
  • Work closely with In-House Technicians on Customer hot tubs brought in under warranty.
  • Process service invoices and follow up with customers and vendors
  • Resolve collections by reconciling customer invoices and payments
  • Process customer payments by recording cash, check and credit card transactions.
  • AR Collection Calls
  • Superior organizational and time management skills with ability to follow-through, especially communicating internally & externally. Candidate must be organized with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong customer service orientation with a drive to serve fellow employees & customers.  Be enthusiastic & dedicated to the challenge of prioritizing tasks & function collaboratively as part of a fast-paced, customer oriented department.  Be a TEAM player with all co-workers!
  • Light cleaning as needed to maintain an organized & clean workspace which includes keeping the Service Center showroom free of boxes, clutter, dirty floors, and this includes the outside front area of the building which may include sweeping the sidewalk area.
  • Other duties as assigned by Service Manager

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software and the ability to learn company specific software
  • Attention to detail, with the ability to spot numerical errors
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • General understanding of mechanical/technical terms preferred

 

GENERAL HOURS:  Monday – Friday 8-4:30 (Flexible within 40 hours)
